Saturday, 10th October. Fuller Production took Ana Smithson to Digbeth which is riddled with beautiful and colourful Street art/graffiti. We liked the idea of doing something a bit more Urban with a few different ideas of for outfits. One of the ideas was to go with the theme and have a couple street-like outfits and then the other idea was to do something contrasting by going with a more elegant look. We were extremely pleased with how the elegant photos came out with the use of the large 'floppy' hat.
For this shoot we had the potential to use 3 flashes to be creative. However, due to technical difficulties, we were only able to use 2 at the most at the same time which still worked to our advantage because the available light on that day was perfect.
Whilst the location called for colour we still found the opportunity for black and white, as is always the case black and white does focus the viewers attention on the model and creates more drama.
The use of a model that wants to work with you in creating great images makes the day. Ana was a joy to work with. We are already looking at future work and location that Ana will be able to work with us on.
